It's still challenging to come up with inspiration to paint, but I gave it a go today. This scene is somewhat more abstract than most with larger blocks of contrasting color in the sky to represent a spectacular sunrise. The marsh tree, shrubs, and grass I left in shadow against the rising sun to add to the contrast and stylize the scene a bit vs. focusing strictly on realism. I think it turned out pretty well.
